SUMMER ACADEMY - June 6-9, 2022
WHY: Learn about different programs and explore career opportunities with hands-on experiences!

WHO:  Rising 9th & 10th graders at Augusta County, Staunton, or Waynesboro Schools

DATES: June 6-9  *Students should commit to attending all dates of the academy or workshop they choose.

TIME: 9:00 AM - 2:30 pm

TRANSPORTATION: You may drop students off at 8:45 at VCTC or provided by school divisions.  Contact the school counselor for information.

WHAT:  Students may attend one VCTC Academy ( 4 days) OR one VCTC Workshop ( 1-2 days).  Students must commit to attend all 4 days of an academy or all sessions of a workshop.  

Each academy includes experiences in the areas shown below:

VCTC ACADEMIES - All June 6-9 (4 days)

-THIS ACADEMY IS NOW FULL (3/27/22) Mechanical & Engineering Trades ( Auto Body Technology, Auto Technology, Diesel Equipment Technology, Precision Machining & Welding)

-THIS ACADEMY IS NOW FULL (4/14/22)Health Occupations (Dental Careers, EMT, Nurse Aide, Vet Science)

-Public Safety ( Emergency Communications (Dispatch), Firefighting, Criminal Justice, EMT)
