Tope Ryan Fencing Removal
Saturday, January 4th, 2020

Help Skagit Land Trust care for the Tope Ryan Conservation Area! We will work together to maintain and remove some fencing on the site which is getting caught up in our growing native plants.

SLT will provide gloves, tools and refreshments – please bring clothing appropriate for the weather and a water bottle. Some volunteers will cross beaver-installed channels to access plantings and fencing sites – though it’s not likely to be an issue, if you are interested in getting farther in the site, a towel and a warm change of clothing may also come in handy in case you get wet!

This is a great opportunity to visit a dynamic conservation area with Trust staff that would be challenging to explore on your own.

Onsite parking is limited – please choose to carpool if possible.

Directions: Parking is limited. If you are able to carpool, please meet at Cook Road Park & Ride at 8:40AM, directly across from the Starbucks, to self-organize volunteer carpools. If you aren't able to carpool, we'd still love to have you join - head to Gripp Rd, just south of where it intersects Prairie Rd, north of Sedro-Woolley.

**** Please note, while we love dogs, and leashed dogs are welcome to most Skagit Land Trust properties, we ask that you keep them at home for these events. This will ensure the comfort of all guests at our work parties and other events and increase the chance of seeing wildlife.
