Our training consists of six classroom training sessions on Thursday evenings and one hands on work day on a Saturday in November. While we will likely offer our training virtually this year, we ask that volunteers miss no more than one training session. Once the training is complete, volunteers are requested to commit to 25 hours of volunteer service for the course of the year, although this is flexible based on the future volunteer opportunities offered due to COVID-19 restrictions. A background check is required for all community volunteers.
