Example: “After 3 decades of working as a service provider for multiple well-known established agencies, I found myself suddenly unemployed.  As a well seasoned, middle aged black woman, and survivor of decades of racial trauma in the workplace, I had no desire to apply for any job. I did not want to use another ounce of my energy to continue functioning under toxic corporate culture.

About 3 days after termination from this job, I remembered having met Ms. Leslie Moore, whom at the time had was purchasing buildings to create a Black Wall St-esk initiative she was calling The Black Block, for the purpose of providing opportunities for black entrepreneurs. My spirit led me to speak to her about starting my own practice.  Following my spirit has never failed me.  May 20, 2023 marks my second year working for myself and providing services in the community to treat over 300 Black and Brown Women and children, and a few men, all on The Black Block!
