Optics Research Experience for Teachers In Native American Schools (O-RETINAS) RET Program Application
CIAN offers O-RETINAS, a 8-week summer program designed for K-14 teachers of Native American students who are interested in bringing an expanded knowledge of STEM topics, research, and industry back to their classrooms. This is a hands-on research experience and industry internship in the University of Arizona's laboratories and surrounding industries. Participants will participate in the Teachers in Industry program for 3 credit hours of university education, participate in workshops, and develop a culturally-relevant lesson plan to take back to the students.
