The gathering of diverse researchers and practitioners in shared space, and the collaborative pooling of experience and expertise, has been a goal of the NCHP since our first gathering. We recognize that, sometimes, our community members may have an idea, a problem, or another not-yet-fully formed topic that would benefit from discussion with "the collective brain" of NCHP.
Individuals may propose a topic or idea for which they would like the NCHP community to share their collective wisdom, insights, thoughts, concerns, etc. Topics may be related to policy, research, practice, local/state or national concerns, etc. Researchers and practitioners from all disciplines are encouraged to submit a PDQ proposal.
By completing this online form, you are submitting your PDQ proposal to facilitate a conversation at the 2025 NCHP conference. Submitting a PDQ proposal requires individuals to affirm: (1) all individuals listed on the proposal
have agreed to the submission; and (2) permission is provided for
submitted PDQ summary to be published in electronic and/or print formats prior to and following the conference.
It is strongly recommended that only the first 5 to 8 minutes of the 30 minute PDQ session be used to frame discussions and the remainder of time be used for conversations.
Review Process
Proposals will be peer reviewed.
Presentation proposals will be reviewed for the following:
- Relevance of topic to NCHP’s focus and goals
- Relevance of
topic, study, or inquiry to practitioners, policy-makers, and/or researchers
- Significance for positive impact on college-going hidden
college student populations
