Community members are invited to attend on Friday, March 20th, 12:00 -1:00 pm, in Los Altos for an interesting talk about the Declaration of Independence hosted by the Los Altos Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. Dr. Amy Noel Ellison of the Los Altos History Museum will help us get ready for America 250 celebrations with her presentation “Journey of the Declaration of Independence: From 1776 through today.” Amy previously held curatorial and research positions at the American Philosophical Society, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Museum of the American Revolution. Amy holds a BA in History from Fresno State and a PhD in History from Boston University, specializing in Early American History. Her dissertation is entitled "'Reverse of Fortune': The Invasion of Canada and the Coming of American Independence, 1774-1776."
