Regina Farmers' Market Co-operative 2017 Vendor Application Form
Thank you for your interest in joining the Regina Farmers' Market Co-operative (RFM). The RFM will be accepting applications from January 15 to May 31, 2017. Applications submitted after May 31 will not be considered until after October 1, 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: If ALL the required application components have not been received by May 31, the application will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.

Before applying, new applicants are strongly encouraged to read the following documents (available at http://reginafarmersmarket.ca/pages/existing-vendors):

Applicants to the Regina Farmers' Market will only be considered once they have submitted ALL of the following:

1. This form, completed. (Depending on the nature of your product, it should take you between 20 and 45 minutes to complete this form.)

2. In the case of applications for multiple prepared food products, you will also need to send a separate email to marketing@reginafarmersmarket.ca, providing a complete product list including details on product ingredients, preparation, and storage. (See application form for details.)

3. Product samples. (Please contact marketing@reginafarmersmarket.ca to arrange delivery of your product samples to a scheduled farmers' market or other agreed upon location. All samples should be packaged as they are to be sold, and must include all relevant labels (as per the RFM Presentation & Labeling Policy.)

4. Non-refundable $25 application fee. (This can be sent by e-transfer to operations@reginafarmersmarket.ca, or mailed by cheque to the RFM at 200-1822 Scarth St, Regina SK S4P 2G3.)

The RFM Applications Process:

- Once we have received ALL of your applications materials (application form, product details, product samples, and application fee), your application will be considered. Please note that prepared food items require approval by BOTH the RFM and the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (RQHR) before they can be sold at market.

- You will be notified of the RFM's decision, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of submitting your application. In some cases we will request more information. This may require an in-person meeting.

- The RFM reserves the right to approve or deny applications at our discretion. The RFM applications process is internal to the organization, and details about decisions regarding applications are not generally provided to the applicant.

- Denied applicants may, if they wish, reapply in the next application cycle.

- Approved applicants will begin a one-year vendor period. During the vendor period the RFM Board of Directors may, at any time, recommend the vendor for full membership in the co-operative OR terminate the vendor without notice. Vendors in the vendor period are required to provide product samples as requested.

- Vendors who apply for and are approved as full RFM members share the rights and responsibilities of membership, as outlined in the RFM bylaws.

- Only approved products may be sold at market. Vendors wishing to add additional products must complete the Additional Product Application process.

Attractive displays draw customers to your booth and help introduce them to your products. Well-designed outdoor market displays help protect you and your products from the sun, rain, and wind.
