Application: Edu-Skater at the Alto Trujillo Skatepark (Peru)
CJF is actively looking for volunteers to help manage the Edu-Skate Programme at the Alto Trujillo Skatepark located on the grounds of a school in Northern Peru. The Skatepark Volunteer position is open to applicants willing to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks functioning in the role, but longer periods are preferred.


Main Responsibilities:
- Teach Edu-Skate classes to primary school students at the Alto Trujillo Skatepark
- Fill in lesson reports on the classes and submit these to the Programme Manager

Required Volunteer Profile:
- Interest in sport and physical education
- Interest in working with children
- Interest in learning about using skateboarding for youth development
- Basic Spanish
- Basic computer literacy (including word processing software such as Microsoft Word)
- Enthusiasm
- Patience
- Responsibility
- Minimum 4 week commitment

CJF is a volunteer-based organisation. As such, please note that this position is unpaid and a monthly volunteer contribution fee is required for coordination of the project and accommodation during your stay in Trujillo. The value of the volunteer contribution fee depends on the volunteer's time commitment and the position in question.

For Edu-Skaters, the following brackets are used:

1-2 months: $400 per month
2-6 months: $360 per month
6-12 months: $260 per month

Accommodation is provided by our local partner organisation Espaanglisch. Daily meals and private transport to the Alto Trujillo Skatepark can also be provided by Espaanglisch upon request.
