Creative Remedies Music Therapy Internship Application
Thank you for your interest in the music therapy internship with Creative Remedies, LLC!

***WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW INTERNS UNTIL JANUARY 2026***
You may still apply for this date, but we will be on a brief music therapy internship hiatus until then while Anastasia finishes her doctorate (anticipated fall 2025).

Anastasia Canfield, MM, MA, LPC, NCC, MT-BC, RPT is the internship director and will be overseeing your internship experience. The primary populations served are mental health/trauma and Neurodiversity -- please include in your application your experience with these populations and how you plan to serve them in a music therapy context. You can learn more about Anastasia's background, credentials, and experience by reading her bio and CV listed here: www.CreativeRemediesLLC.com/anastasia-canfield

CR is currently working with clients in-person, community-based, and via telehealth. You can expect to spend ~90% of your time in office at Creative Remedies in Aurora, Colorado and ~10% providing local community based services in co-treatment with our current therapists or as an outreach project. If you are looking for housing, it would be wise to look closer to Aurora, Centennial, or South Denver.

In addition to the application below, please also provide via email (Anastasia.MTBC@gmail.com):
- unofficial transcript (electronic via email is fine) from all universities attended (not just music therapy if you have other degrees)
- 2 letters of recommendation; one from your program, the second can be from any recommender, please have your recommenders email them to me directly rather than going through you
- sample assessment and treatment plan
- resume/CV
- any questions you have about the internship -- you may also schedule a Practicum/Internship consultation with Anastasia to get these questions answered in real time at this link: app.simplymeet.me/anastasiacanfield

After these items and the application are received, you will be informed of either your rejection from the internship experience or moving forward to the interview portion of the application. You will receive this via email within 5 business days of receipt of all of the above application requirements. If for some reason, you have not received an email within this timeframe, please email Anastasia.MTBC@gmail.com and/or call/text (720) 780-0111
