RSVP - Peer PSAT Prep/Tutoring (Math)
Who: Juniors looking to improve their PSAT scores, qualify for the National Merit Scholarship and/or practice for the SAT. 

What: Six prep sessions - Students should plan to attend all six sessions as they prepare to take the PSAT on Thursday, 10/9.

Where: Glass lab in the Commons

When: Beginning next week, after school, in the Commons from 3:00 - 4:30 on the following dates: 
  • Monday, 9/29
  • Tuesday, 9/30
  • Wednesday, 10/1
  • Monday, 10/6
  • Tuesday, 10/7
  • Wednesday 10/8
How: Under the supervision of a JCHS staff member, junior peer tutors, Aidan Ardalan and Finn Kirwin, will lead six PSAT Prep sessions. Both of these students recently earned their PSAT/SAT tutoring certification through Schoolhouse World (created by the founder of Khan Academy). This certification recognizes that they scored within the tip 10% of students nationwide on the SAT. This is quite impressive!
