Tilden House Preservation Workshop - Reservation
The David Tilden House in Canton is an exceptional example of late first period construction. The project of repairing and preserving a timber frame building is complex and detailed. Join our preservation team for a two-hour workshop that goes behind the scenes of this project with an informative tour and hand-on display and historical display.
Working with conservation experts, this project will advance the work of the Canton Historical Society. Attendees will get an in-depth look and a hardhat tour of a house that dates to the earliest settlement of Canton.
There is a $25.00 suggested donation for this workshop and that fee includes food & beverages. Each workshop is limited to ten participants. All proceeds are fully tax deductible and will be used for the preservation fund for the David & Abigail Tilden House.
