LPO Academy Fellowship Application
Thank you for applying for our 2026 LPO Academy Fellowship program! This program is open to current 9th-12th grade students at Haynes Academy, Kenner Discovery, Metairie Park Country Day, Riverdale High, St. Katharine Drexel Prep, and Willow School.

Applicants will be required to perform a live audition for a panel of LPO musician judges. Auditions will take place on the evening of Tuesday, December 16 at Loyola University. Audition requirements:
  • One scale of your choice.
  • An excerpt from any solo that you play well. Please limit your solo to no more than one minute in length.
  • Sight reading.
  • Brief, spoken interview.
When the application window closes, an LPO staff member will email you with further instructions for the audition. If you have questions in the meantime, please email education@lpomusic.com.

LPO Academy Fellowship rehearsals will take place on Mondays from 5:30-7 PM at Loyola University. (School holidays will be observed.)
