Activism is Love is a program created to teach youth up to age 26 to be social leaders in their communities and life. The leadership training institute will provide emerging leaders with the necessary skills to be activists, organizers, or any other political career. Leadership, public speaking, networking, community relationship building, and political relationship building will be taught through hands-on-training in local communities.

Participants will meet several political leaders, labor organizers, activists, and representatives of nonprofits/ causes. They will conduct research on local social issues of their choosing, develop a website, and participate in a public debate.

Activism is Love seeks to teach emerging leaders through love of self, community, and justice. With the training and experience of the program you will become the agents of change that our communities, and world needs. You will learn about jobs and careers that are viable solutions to social injustice.

This program will take place over 16 weeks with programming happening every Tuesday from 4:00  to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Due to COVID-19 our programming will start out virtually on Zoom, with hopes of being able to convene in person beginning in April.
