Thank you for your interest in our course. To apply for the subsidized rate of $50 per participant, please fill out the application form below. Please note that this offer is available for 20 Concordia students, subject to sufficient community registrations and external funding. Your spot is NOT confirmed until given confirmation from Coop CultivAction and payment of the $50 tuition fee. We don’t want finances to be a barrier for learning about urban agriculture. If you cannot afford the $50 fee please let us know what you can afford below in the Affordability Rate request area.

The CultivAction Solidarity Cooperative exists to build community food sovereignty and food justice. As such, we prioritize applications from people who have historically faced systemic barriers to engaging in agriculture, such as land dispossession and ruptures in ancestral knowledge. I confirm that I am a current Concordia Student and that I am committed to the complete the requirements of the certificate. I give Coop CultivAction consent to to verify my student status. I understand that this course is being subsidized for 20 Concordia University students subject to adequate community registrations and securing external funding. In the event that there are more applicants than spots available my spot is not confirmed until I get confirmation from Coop CultivAction and pay the $50 tuition fee or the agreed upon affordability rate. I understand that course content may vary slightly from the website description.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Everyone enrolled in the course will receive a participation certificate. Those who complete 85% of the course will receive a certificate of excellence. We can also provide letters of recommendation for those looking for work in urban agriculture upon completion of the course.
