2018 W.H. Peterson Nomination Form
The W.H. Peterson Awards are annually awarded to students who present outstanding research in sessions sponsored by the Division of Biochemical Technology (BIOT) at ACS National meetings. Two Awards are presented annually: one for the best oral presentation, and one for the best poster presentation. Each awardee will receive a cash award of $1000 and a plaque to commemorate the award.

Students interested in competing for this award must complete the nomination form, and submit a CV and an extended abstract before March 2, 2018. Please complete and submit the nomination form using the "submit" button below. Please send the following items to peterson@acsbiot.com.

1. A current Curriculum Vitae including record of manuscripts published or in review (not in preparation), previous presentations at regional or national meetings, indicating the presenter and whether it was an oral or poster presentation.

2. An extended abstract of the proposed presentation. The extended abstract should be a maximum of three pages including text and figures/tables. This abstract should describe the research question(s) addressed in the presentation, the extent to which those questions will been answered, and the technological/scientific significance of the results. Indicate the publication status of this research at the time of application, including the journal and expected date of submission/publication.
