Please be aware, that these programs will run solely based on the fees of the students and it is financially independent from Islamic Association of Michigan/Masjid Umar Bin Khattab. To avoid any disruptions, it is highly recommended to setup automatic payments.

1. The fee for Tahfeedhul Qur'an course is $250 per month.

2. Payment options:
You can sign up for electronic payments through your bank using Zelle or Chase QuickPay. It is highly recommended to setup automatic payments before the 1st of every month.

If you're not able to sign up for electronic payments, you can send your payments by check, payable to ALTAF S. KAPADIA.
NOTE: Under memo/message, please note down your child's name, name of program and the month of installment.

3. The installment fees should be submitted by the 1st day of every month, with a grace period till the 5th day of every month. Failure to submit the installment fee by the end of the 5th day of every month, will have the student be automatically disenrolled from class.

4. All fees are due, regardless of

-The child being enrolled in the beginning, middle, or end of the month.

-Class cancellation due to inclement weather based upon the announcement of the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District. If it's after public school hours, it will be decided no later than one hour before class.

-The days missed by the student due to their inability to join the classes, (so as to reserve the child's seat in class).

-Student being suspended or expelled from class due to misconduct.

-The sick days of the student.

-The sick days of the teacher which will be up to and not more than 10 days per year. If the teacher takes a sick leave after the 10th day, the fee for that specific month will be prorated.

-The Ramadan schedule which will shorten the maktab classes to one hour each class.

-The vacation schedule of the teacher or student.
The yearly holiday schedule is as follows:
Eidul Fitr break (3 days)

Eidul Adha break (1week)

Summer break (1 week)
Winter holiday (1 week).

5. If the student does not attend class for a period of two consecutive months or more, the student will lose his/her enrollment in class and that enrollment will be given to the next student in the waiting list.

6. Darul Arqam of Michigan has the discretion, for cause or without cause, to cancel/refuse the admission of any student of any program conducted by Darul Arqam of Michigan.

7. All fees are required upon receipt of this application. Failure to do so, will have this application rendered as incomplete.

8. During the pandemic, all students will be required to wear a mask and follow the protocols and guidelines set by the masjid and classroom. No students will be allowed in the Masjid premises or classroom without proper masks.
If a student has asthma or similar medical conditions, kindly send us a letter. Upon submission of letter, we will allow the child to wear a face shield in place of a mask.
