This annual art exhibit features multiple purposes: it invites international artists to celebrate the arts, creates awareness of the value of arts in our communities, and raises funds that benefit Arts for All and arts programming at ACE. Arts for All is an annual two-day arts festival in La Grande on the third weekend in April, where children are invited to explore their artistic talents through a diverse variety of arts and crafts activities. Arts for All is a free event, made possible by funds raised at Season's Faire.
The 2017 Season's Faire exhibit will run from November 4 - 14th, with a festive opening reception from 6-8pm on Saturday, November 4th.
About Us:Art Center East (ACE) is a nonprofit art services organization serving 10 rural Eastern Oregon counties. Founded in 1977, ACE is dedicated to enriching rural communities through art education, exhibits, and cultural experiences. With our Artists in Schools program, we bring art curriculum back to rural schools throughout our 10-county region. At our La Grande, Oregon headquarters, we provide various arts learning opportunities for children and adults with a broad spectrum of programing that includes: monthly art exhibits, classes & workshops, cultural events, and community outreach. In addition, ACE manages the local community ensemble programs hosted at Eastern Oregon University, providing community members with opportunities such as Community Symphonic Band, Union County Children's Choirs, Grande Ronde Community Choir, and African Drumming. Visit ACE (Monday - Friday 10am-4pm & Saturday from 12-4pm) and take a tour of our studio classroom, pottery studio, gift gallery, and exhibition space. Learn more at artcentereast.org.
