Sophomore Surge is a peer mentoring program that prepares sophomore commuter students for continued academic success, finding a home on SDSU’s campus, gaining leadership skills and experience, and preparing for career and major exploration.

Have a better chance at getting hired as a paid mentor or student leader on campus
Mentees and mentors will meet 8 times during Fall semester and 8 times during Spring semester for 30 minutes each session.
This program is open and free to SDSU commuter students who will be starting their second year at SDSU.
