Each registered child will receive outdoor chalk and be encouraged to share their prairie and pond discoveries on the bike trail surface.
Adults will have an opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee and see native prairie plants in this four-acre restored prairie along the Lytle Creek Greenway and 4-C Bicentennial Trail. The prairie is maintained by the Clinton County Park Board and the bike trail is part of the City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation system.
Volunteers will be on hand 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and participants may come anytime. This program is free, but please register to help us plan appropriately. This program will be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
