Outdoor Pop-Up Markets at The Hub
Are you missing pop-up markets as much as we are?!? If so this application was made with you in mind!

We're hosting 8-10 vendors, Saturdays from 10:30-2:30pm, starting in June.

These fun summer pop-up markets will take place in our parking lot in front of our store.

We expect nothing but incredible things for these markets! The Maker's Hub is situated in central Durham, in a busy prime location - Hopkins St. and Consumers Dr. in Whitby, just minutes from the 401. We see 100+ visitors daily for curbside pickups, plus our shoppers, add in the road traffic on Hopkins and you have the making for a successful micro market.

Who are we looking for? Maker/artisan owned businesses, with a strong online brand presence to partner and assist us with marketing the events.

Applications are active for 3 months.

COVID SAFETY: To ensure everyone's safety and social distancing, each vendor will receive 2 parking spaces. We will be asking our vendors and shoppers to wear masks. Shoppers will be required to move through the market in one direction. Vendors are requested to have hand sanitizer available at their table. If a vendor (or those in direct contact with a vendor) are experiencing Covid symptoms and/or a positive diagnosis, they are required to cancel. A refund of 75% will be issued. Due to the nature of Covid, these rules may change at any time.

CANCELLED DUE TO COVID - Due to unforeseen Covid related circumstances, if The Maker's Hub has to cancel a market, a full refund (less processing fees) will be issued to vendors.

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER - If a market date is cancelled due to weather, TMH will do our best to find a suitable alternate date. If a 'rain date' cannot be secured a full refund (less processing fees) will be issued to vendors.
