CSSS Advocate Award
Advocate: publicly recommend or support a particular cause or policy.

Carleton University is prized for its supportive, and tight-knit community. Here, many students support their peers through formally organized programs (PASS, SSSC Mentoring, etc) or informal interactions (helping a friend study for a test, supporting friends through tough times, etc). The CSSS Advocate Award recognizes the work students do to support their peers. The recipient of the CSSS Advocate Award will be given $850. The deadline for submission for the CSSS Advocate Award is February 8, 2021 and finalists will be notified on March 1, 2021.

Finalists will be asked to interview and share their experience with the CSSS's VP Academic (Abhi Kurusetty) and Awards Officer (Alexandra Schroeder).
