Purpose - The Joseph Soriano Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to one or more deserving Weber School student(s) each year to offset such student's or students' annual tuition and fees.
Eligibility Criteria - The Joseph Soriano Scholarship is open to current and incoming students who have been admitted to The Weber School. Eligible students are those who
• are in good academic standing• have a pre-determined financial need• excel in sports• demonstrate a commitment to community
as determined by The Weber School. Students receiving tuition assistance from other sources are also eligible for the Soriano Scholarship.
Selection Process - Soriano Scholars shall be selected by The Joseph Soriano Scholarship Committee, which will consist of three members of Weber's administration, faculty and/or Board of Trustees, as appointed by the Head of School. The Committee will meet each April to review applications and select at least three deserving students as finalists for each available Soriano Scholarship. The Committee will review each student's eligibility and factor in any special circumstances in their decision process. The Soriano Scholar/s will be announced in late April of each year and awards applied for the next academic year.
