Parent University "Getting Cozy with Curriculum" December 14, 2019
Hello D97 Families,
The Teaching and Learning Department is hosting a Parent University on Saturday, December 14th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lincoln Elementary School, 1111 S. Grove. We are excited to offer a morning of exploring curricula used in D97 and the resources your students use each day. The theme of our Parent University is Cozy up to Curriculum.
We ask that you choose up to 3 sessions you would like to attend. If you have students in multiple grade levels, feel free to "mix & match" your sessions accordingly. Please note, not all topics are available in each session. Registration is required to ensure your seat and space can be limited. Please sign up early as the registration window will close on Sunday, December 8th. District 97 will provide childcare for children ages 4 and up. Please be sure to indicate if you will need childcare so we can plan accordingly.
The sessions will cover literacy, mathematics, technology tools, Second Step, music, foreign language, homework, and many more. Each of the sessions will provide you with hands-on experience and supports for home. You may access the list of sessions and descriptions linked below. Early Childhood will consist of one session that will cover literacy, math, and Second Step. Early Childhood parents need only to click "Early Childhood".
