VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Educate workers and businesses about the new Pasadena Minimum Wage!
Pasadenans Organizing for Progress (POP!) needs your help to make sure all workers in Pasadena are receiving the correct wages and all employers are complying with the new minimum wage law we fought so hard for.

On Saturday, June 8 we will canvas Pasadena businesses in Old Town to talk with workers and managers about the July 1 minimum wage increase. We want to make certain all businesses post the required notice and identify businesses that are out of compliance.

Since the minimum wage increase went into effect, we have received several complaints from workers whose bosses were out of compliance. We have successfully resolved these complaints, but we know there are more and we must do something to make sure there is economic justice for the hard-working people in our city.

We will start training for the canvas at 10:30 AM in the Pasadena Jobs Center, 500 N. Lake, Pasadena and visit businesses along Old Town Pasadena until 1:00 PM.
