NEA Bystander Intervention Training
Thank you for your interest in participating in the bystander intervention training being offered by New England Archivists in conjunction with the roll-out of our organizational code of conduct at the NEA Spring 2017 Meeting. We are excited to offer this training FREE to all NEA Spring 2017 Meeting attendees.

Please join us for this event!

The training will take place:

Thursday, March 23rd, 2017
6:00-8:00pm
Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis, Massachusetts
Room: Osterville A

Due to space constraints, we are limiting this workshop to 50 participants. If you RSVP and are wait-listed, the Inclusion and Diversity Coordinator will be in touch with you by email.

If interest exceeds capacity, the IDC will explore the possibility of offering additional trainings in future! If you are unable to attend the 3/23 training but are interested in participating in a future event, please email the IDC (diversity@newenglandarchivists.org) so that interest may be accurately assessed.

After participating in this training, would you be willing to serve as a Community Advocate? *
Community Advocates (CAs) are members of the New England Archivists community who have participated in a bystander intervention training and are willing to be identified (wearing a CA button) as individuals to whom an NEA event attendee may seek assistance in the event of a code of conduct violation. These individuals will work with the IDC to encourage awareness of the code of conduct and document any incidents in which the code of conduct is violated.
