CTE Center Instructor Referral Form

The Marin Regional Occupational Program (ROP) is seeking future instructors for new Introduction to Building & Construction Trades classes at the Marin Career Technology Education CTE Center in San Rafael, CA.

We will support selected candidate(s) in obtaining preliminary Career Technical Education (CTE) credentials.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of construction/trades industry experience
  • A high school diploma
  • Ability to pass a background check 
  • COVID-19, Measles, 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement instructional programs to meet student’s/industry needs.
  • Maintain ongoing evaluation system for monitoring student’s program and progress.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and utilize established curriculum.
  • Establish and maintain an industry-based advisory committee.
  • Maintain acceptable health and safety standards at each instructional site.
  • Establish and maintain channels of communication with host instructional site staff, student, and/or parent.
  • Develop community classroom and/or cooperative vocational education training sites.  
  • Observe legal mandates.
  • Direct assigned classified staff and volunteers.
  • Participate in activities designed to promote professional growth.
