The Behaviour Interactive Research Chair in Game Design will grant NINE (9) 5000$ undergraduate scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year
FOUR (4) of these scholarships will be dedicated to students from communities underrepresented in the québécois gaming industry.
Deadline: May 19th 2025
Requirements:
- Registered in an undergraduate program of the Design and Computation Arts Department.
- Being in good academic standing.
- Have at least one year left before graduation at the scholarship’s start date.
- Basic competence in one of the following practices (and interest in developing this skill further): 2D art, 3D art, programming, web design, video editing
What you get:
- 5000$ scholarship for one year
- Inclusion in the Research Chair Activities
Expectations:- Active participation in the research chair activities (online, in-person meetings, etc)
- Developing your game development competences by contribution to the research chair game projects.
Selection criteria:- Candidates will be selected according to their competences and motivation.
- Recommendation from DCART faculty, although not required, will be factored in (faculty can send an email to karine.schuttkimpton@concordia.ca)
- Specific profiles might be prioritized depending on the current needs of the chair's projects.
