Colleen Plumton is a Senior Instructor and Fieldwork Program Coordinator for the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management at the University of Manitoba. Colleen’s passion for the field of recreation and community development is evident every time she speaks about it. Aided by her Master’s degree of Recreation and Sport Management, Colleen is able to instill this passion in all of the students that she teaches. Colleen continues to enhance the professionalism and significance of the field and those working in the world of recreation and community development through her commitment to her student’s pursuit of knowledge.

Upon registration for a workshop/conference, registrants are liable to pay the FULL AMOUNT listed on the invoice, whether they attend the event or not. MAVA incurs costs for a workshop/conference based on the number of individuals registered for the specified workshop/conference.
In order to receive a full refund, individuals must submit notice of cancellation to in advance of 5 full business days prior to the workshop/conference. NO refund will be given to registrants who do not attend or choose to cancel within 5 full business days before the day of the workshop/conference.
