Event Purpose

New Caney ISD and The Greater EMC Chamber present Career Kickstart: Student Job Expo. Join us for a dynamic Job and Internship Fair tailored for high school juniors and seniors on April 25th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Caney ISD Community Room. Local businesses seeking seasonal help, interns, or entry-level candidates will have the unique opportunity to connect directly with motivated students eager to start their careers. Meet face-to-face, conduct on-the-spot interviews, and showcase your business to the community. Don’t miss this chance to discover fresh talent and forge lasting connections within our community!

Event Schedule:

  • 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Business and industry representatives set up their tables.
  • 8:15 AM – 9:10 AM: Group 1 (approximately 100 students)
  • 9:15 AM – 10:10 AM: Group 2 (approximately 100 students)
  • 10:15 AM – 11:10 AM: Group 3 (approximately 100 students)
  • 11:10 AM – 11:40 AM: Business and industry representatives tear down their tables.

Event Details:

  • Expectation: 300 students total (100 per group).
  • Each participating business or organization will be provided with a designated workspace, a 6 foot table with a black table cloth, and two chairs.
