WLC Application: Parent Empowerment Program
Application for Funds from the Parent Empowerment Program of the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs

Purpose: The Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) exists to support student academic achievement by investing in parent groups to help foster community involvement, excite student learning and more significantly, empower parents to continue to be active participants in their child’s education. The goal of the program is to provide matching funds to those raised by parent groups for at least ten Title 1 schools DCPS. Parent groups should work with their Principals to select programs/activities for Fund support based on the needs they perceive.
