We had a very successful kick-off event on Saturday, October 21 at the Community Gardens Fall Harvest Celebration. We had 8 families (almost 30 kids and parents) working at the St. Rita's garden site!
Join us for our next event on Saturday, November 18 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Divine Providence- St. Casimir Church where we will be making personalized Thanksgiving cards and delivering Thanksgiving meals to families in the neighborhood.
Our Advent service opportunity will be sorting the Giving Tree donations at Old St. Mary Parish Hall on Sunday, December 17 at 11:30 am. We will have an opportunity to learn about the great organizations receiving the various donations.
If you are not able to join us on November 18 or December 17, but you are still interested in getting more invitations from FJB, please fill out the form below too.
Feel free to invite friends and neighbors to FJB! We are open to families of all faith backgrounds. Our families can all work together to bring about more peace and justice in our community!
As Pope Paul VI said, "If you want peace, work for justice." I look forward to helping your family work towards a more just and peaceful city for everyone.
