Greylight 2142: The Prelude Sign Up
In this form you can register for "Greylight 2142: The Prelude" happening from the 21st - 24th May and from the 28th - 31st May 2026 in Duisburg, Germany. For more information about the event visit greylight.de

There will be a separate sign up for Diffraction later.

In this form you can PRE-REGISTER for the game. This will enter you in the lottery for tickets. The Pre-Registration will close on the 14th August 2025, 11PM CET.

Which runs would your participate in? *
Even if you select both, you will only ever be selected for one of them. For both runs, the days are as follows: 
Day 01 Evening - Arrival and check in. 
Day 02 - Workshops and Game Start
Day 03 (Saturday) - Game End in the Evening
Day 04 - Cleanup and Leave. 

As a note - all written materials for both runs will only be available in english, even though game language for the german run will be german.

We'll do another run of our small evening event "Diffraction" - on the evening of the 24th May (Sunday) - Note: Monday after is a holiday in a lot of places. 

The core experience will be to exist in the cyberpunk city - with the drama you bring yourself and a little plot that you can participate in but also can ignore without any problems.

The Larp is set in an alternate timeline of Greylight 2142 - some things and factions are the same as in Prelude, some things are completely different. Occasionally characters from The Prelude might exist as NPCs, but otherwise nobody is allowed to play any Prelude Run characters.
Existing costumes may of course be used.

We will release more detailed information about the concept and the sign up soon. 
If there are too many sign ups, spots for diffraction will also undergo a lottery. 
If you do not obtain a ticket, do you want to be added to the waiting list automatically? *
The waiting list will be active for up to 2 weeks before the event, after which we'll move to another, short-notice waiting list. We will ask again then, but if you are on the "original" waiting list you'll get a preferred spot there. 
Three ways to participate
Ticket Type
There are several available Ticket types for Greylight 2142. Please note that no ticket gives you an advantage in the lottery. All tickets include accommodation and food for the duration of your stay. 

Standard - 300€
A normal ticket for the experience. Gives you a spot and a character to play. 

Supporter - 430€
A normal ticket for the experience. Gives you a spot and a character to play. Enable one subsidized tickets to happen. You'll also get a Greylight Cup of choice. (These usually cost 20€) 

Subsidized - 180€
A normal ticket for the experience. Gives you a spot and a character to play. Aimed to enable lower income players to attend. 
What ticket type would you purchase? *
Would you be willing to help to construct or clean up the game? (limited availability)
This will require you to stay more days at the venue. The more days in addition you stay, the more reduction you will get on your ticket price. (they do not stack, you only get one discount) 
There is a fixed contingent of days required that we need to fill with player supported work. 
If you get a ticket, you will also be told how many days of setup/cleanup are required from you. Please not that these are full days (you arrive in the morning and will have work to do for the whole day).

There is a limited amount of tickets available for players who already participated.

For the international run, international players will be preferred. If you want, you can tell us where exactly you come from! (but you don't have to) 
Character Type *
There are several different types of characters in the game. Each of them comes with different playstyles. Some of them, like Androids come with much higher costume requirements. Rifters, Mages and Ascended require additional make-up. Check the website for more information on that.

What happens now? 
The Ticket lottery will be open until 14th August 2025. After that, we will inform everyone on whether they have received a spot or not. 

After that, you will have 2 weeks to obtain your ticket and secure your spot. You will then receive further instructions on how to proceed.
