Welcome to the Pax Jubilee Lenten Challenge 2025!
It is an invitation to read, reflect and live together the peace of Christ in the Gospel and Catholic social teaching during the 40 days of the Lenten Period of the Jubilee Year 2025. You can join individual or as a group by choosing one or more documents and a period of 10 or 40 days from Ash Wednesday (March 5) to Palm Sunday (April 13) prior to the Holy Week and Easter Sunday (April 20) 2025.
You can choose type of participation (individual or group), language - English for International, and national languages such as Bahasa Indonesia, Bengali, Nepali and Korean and period (10 days or 40 days).
Once registered, you will be informed of detailed guide including how to join a WhatsApp group to share your experiences and background materials.
The Pax Jubilee Challenge 2025 is an online activity designed for Catholic students and young people to help them to deepen their understanding of the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching (CST). The challenge encourages participants to read selected texts over a period ranging from 10 to 40 days in alignment with key liturgical seasons such as Lent (Mar. 5 to April 13) prior to Easter, and Laudato Si’ Week (May 24-31), Season of Creation (Sept 1 to Oct. 4), Advent prior to Christmas (Nov. 30 to Dec. 25).
Participants will be encouraged to complete the entire 4 gospels and 4 major catholic social teachings of Pope Francis - Evangelii Gaudium (Joy of the Gospel, 2013), Laudato
Si (Care for Our Common Home, 2015), Christus
Vivit (Christ is Living, 2019) and Fratelli Tutti (Fraternity and Social Friendship, 2020) during the Jubilee Year 2025 in addition to the Pope Francis message on the World Day of Peace (January 1, 2025) of the Jubilee Year 2025.
