Each camp is open to students across all Propel schools (grade level varies by camp). However, transportation is not provided. Spots are limited and spots will be filled on a first registered, first served basis. In order to receive a camp t-shirt, we must have your registration by Friday, May 24. All applicants will receive a notification email by Monday, June 3rd.
Please read through the summer camp options for your child. All programs are closed on July 4 and July 5th.
Summer Camp Options:
1.) MAGIC Summer Camps- 5 weeks- Hazelwood and Pitcairn- June 24-July 26 - Monday -Friday, 9am-3pm (students going into grades 1st through 9th) - Art, Science, Reading, Recreation and Field trips- breakfast and lunch provided
2.) MAGIC Summer Camps- 6 weeks- Homestead, McKeesport & Northside- June 24-August 1- Monday-Thurs., 9am-3pm (students going into grades 1st through 9th)Art, Science, Reading, Recreation and Field trips- breakfast and lunch provided
A special SEL Leadership 2 day program will be available for all students going into grades 6-9 during the last week.
3.) Braddock Hills Middle Special Projects- 6 weeks- Braddock Hills Middle- June 24-August 1-Monday-Thursday, 9am-1pm (students going into grades 7th through 9th)Hands-on STEM Activities with field trips to several STEM organizations and a special project with Saturday Light Brigade.
4.) Stem Girlz- 4 weeks-Homestead- July 1-July 25- Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm (girls going into grades 7th through 9th) STEM Activities and STEM career exploration in partnership with The Urban League of PittsburghGirls participating in Stem Girlz may also participate in a 5 or 6 week camp. Check off both camps on the application if your daughter is interested in both.
