ariZoni Awards Theatre Application
For theatres wishing to join the ariZonis and have their productions be considered for the upcoming season.
Please ensure you meet the following requirements:

-To participate, new theatres must provide Documentation confirming that they have been a continually producing theatre for at least 3 years. During the time of continuous participation, the theatre must have presented at least 3 shows per year for at least 3 consecutive years in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. You will need to send documentation to us at arizonihelp@gmail.com. Such documentation should consist of playbills, flyers, and proof of media coverage, press clippings, etc.  

-Have a scheduled and publicized season of theatrical productions

-Present productions in a public performance space on a regular basis in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area

-Present full-length productions that are open and advertised to the public and for which tickets are sold. Said shows shall be no shorter than 45 minutes actual runtime (not including curtain speech, intermission and bows).

-Have a minimum of four performances on four separate days. [Please note: This rule is critical to our ability to provide enough adjudicators to your shows. However, we will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.]

The ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence Board of Directors reserves the right to consider exceptions to ANY of these policies on a case-by-case basis.

There is a $25 charge for each ariZoni production to be adjudicated. Payment can be made either by check or via PayPal. Payment options are selected when you enter the shows you wish to have adjudicated in our online adjudication system. You will also need to agree to set aside 5 pairs of tickets for the 5 ariZoni adjudicators who will be assigned to your show in order for them to attend with a guest (if they prefer). The adjudicators will contact the person you've indicated as your Adjudicator Contact to determine which performance they are able to attend and to let you know if they will require 1 or 2 tickets.

Shows to be Adjudicated
If you have been accepted you will receive account information to access our online adjudication site. You will list the show titles and performance dates for the shows you wish to have adjudicated on this site.  

You may list the title as TBA, but please list dates as accurately as possible. You may change the dates and titles during the season, but you may not add any productions to be adjudicated.

If any productions are co-produced with another ariZoni theatre company, only one theatre may list that production. (Refer to Theatre Guidelines #11 under Theatre Responsibilities.)

If you are lisitng any "TBA" productions, please be sure to mark the Category (Play or Musical) for every show.

Please note that no productions may be added after the June 1st deadline.
