Artist-in-Residence Application
Nashville Community Darkroom's Artist-in-Residence program seeks to foster creative and artistic growth for emerging photographers using traditional and alternative photographic media. Our 3-6 month residency offers free 24-hour access to NCD's full black-and-white traditional darkroom facilities, studio, work areas, and equipment, in addition to donated material support and free access to NCD classes when space is available.

During the residency, artists commit to a few hours of facility assistance per month, and to maintain regular communication with NCD's board members about the ongoing residency.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Please note that living accommodations are not provided. There is no fee to apply. Additional details about the program are available at nashvillecommunitydarkroom.org.
