FIRST Robotics Competition Team Interest Form
FIRST Robotics Competition team 5276, the Edgar Allan Ohms, is a high school level STEM education team based at AMRoC Fab Lab. The team has openings for 8 to 10 new students for the 2020 season, starting in January. Students must be high school aged, with priority given to youth in the immediate area of University Mall, where the team is located.

FIRST Robotics Competition challenges students to build a robot weighing up to 120 lbs to compete in a different game design challenge each year. No previous experience is necessary, although an interest in mechanics, electronics, technology, and design is helpful. The team typically meets each Tuesday, from 4pm to 7pm, with additional meeting times closer to the March competition in Orlando.

Please Note: Completing this form only indicates interest and does not constitute acceptance of your child on the team. There is an additional application process and required parent orientation. The team is capped at 20 students and spots are typically filled on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to University Community area youth. However, if programs fill, we will try to help you start or find other teams to join where possible. There is a $100 contribution requested to be applied to team expenses, with scholarships available to students in the AMRoC Fab Lab service area. No student will be denied the opportunity to participate because of inability to contribute.

Thank you for your interest in our FIRST Youth Robotics program.
