Help Is On The Way -- At-Home Learning Tips for Parents
Today, parents are not only working from home and taking care of their families but they have also taken on the role of full-time teachers. This new demand brings many challenges and parents find themselves needing resources and information to support at-home learning.
The discussion will be facilitated by Melissa Fowler a former educator who has taught at the elementary, middle school and high school levels and is also experienced in special education. Ms. Fowler has coached teachers in practice and has worked for many years in educational research, including projects that focused on improving student learning, issues of equity, and teacher quality. Her vast experience brings great insight to this topic.
