We have a fabulous year planned for our fourth graders, and it takes a village of volunteers to make everything happen. Please select what activities you are interested in helping with and you will be contacted by the teacher, room parent(s), or committee members as opportunities in the different areas arise during the year. Thank you in advance for your gift of time! (We will send out volunteer requests later in the year for field trips.)
Room Parent (work with the teacher and volunteers to coordinate classroom activities, manage classroom emails to parents, collect and manage classroom funds, coordinate and delegate PTA)
Room Parent Committee (work with the Room Parent on one or more of the above activities)
Help with Walk Through California - name tags, photography and/or scorekeeping (February 11th from 8:30-11:00)
Help with Rancho Day (March 27th from 12:30-2:30; many volunteers needed)
Help with class play- set up, costumes, programs, etc. (June 8th at 8:30)
Help with year-end Beach Day (June 10th all day; many volunteers needed)
Class Photographer (coordinate yearbook pages and take pictures at all big class and school events throughout the year, take pictures for various class projects)
Stuff White Envelopes (every Tuesday - timing is flexible)
Assist with weekly classroom copying (once a week - day is flexible)
Assist in Science Lab (Mondays 9:25-10:25)
Assist in the Library (Fridays 1:30-2:00)
Assist in Makerspace (Fridays 9:25-10:25 - approximately once a month)
Projects at home (preparing classroom activities: cutting, folding, labeling, etc.)
