Savvy STEM, CS, and CE volunteers are needed to assist with about 1- 2 hours of online judging of elementary Scratch programming and middle school web programming entries.
Judging can be completed independently and online at any time during the judging period. The judging period for the Innovation Games competition will begin on November 6th and end on November 18th, 2024.
All volunteers will be provided with an online rubric and grading submission system. Projects are hosted online as well, so judging can be done from anywhere with an internet connection at any time during the judging period. Judges should get, or be, familiar with Block-Based programming (see:
https://scratch.mit.edu) and/or basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
As long as you are familiar with general programming concepts (variables, loops, conditionals, etc.), advanced knowledge of JavaScript is not required.
