This category is open to any business founded or operated by a woman of color that has been trading for at least four years. The business must provide at least one year’s set of accounts and have an annual turnover not exceeding £3 million. Judges will seek evidence of a well-managed business, a consistent increase in turnover, and a clear brand identity. Innovation and sustainability in business practices will also be key factors in the evaluation process. Exceptional customer service and community engagement will be highly regarded. Additionally, the ability to adapt and thrive in changing market conditions will be a significant consideration.
