When a bias incident is submitted, follow up may be a necessary part of the process to address a situation. Depending on the incident, this may mean several individuals are contacted for more understanding of the situation. Many times this will involve gathering more information from a person who has reported an incident of bias if possible (in the case of anonymity that would not be an option) as well as from any witnesses to a bias incident.

The Officer for Equity and Inclusion and the President will receive the submissions and will follow-up to address the incident.
