DPS Foundation Grant Application - Parent Engagement Grants
APPLICATION DEADLINE: This form must be submitted by Friday, January 4th at 8pm

- What funds can be used for: This grant is provided for projects that seek to increase and/or improve parent engagement at a DPS school. For example, a group of parents could organize parents in their neighborhood to better understand their DPS school or a group of school administrators, educators and parents could work together to create improved school tours for new parents to learn about the school.

- Eligible applicants: Durham Public Schools' parents and/or educators (e.g., teachers, TAs, counselors, administrators). Projects are not required to include a parent but preference will be given to projects that include one ore more parents.

- Grant amounts: Grant requests can be for $250- $2,500.

- Time frame: The activity/project/experience that the grant funds will be used for should begin between February - June 2019. The grant funds can be used over an 18 month period.
