2018 IAKL Annual Conference Scholarships awarded by IAKL/ the IAKL Foundation & the LimNexus Foundation
In celebration of the 2018 IAKL Annual Conference, the IAKL Foundation is granting 5 scholarships to qualified law students:
- Three (3) IAKL Foundation Scholarships: $3,000 each
- The LimNexus Foundation Scholarship: $4,000
- The Han Choi Memorial Scholarship: $5,000. For the Han Choi Memorial Scholarship, special consideration will be given to students who are cancer survivors, or whose lives or close family members or friends are/were affected by cancer.

NOTE: Scholarship awards are limited ONLY to law students currently enrolled and attending school in Georgia.

Winners will be selected and announced by Sept. 10, 2018, and the scholarships will be awarded in person during the IAKL Conference, scheduled from Sept. 13 - 16, 2018 at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead Atlanta. For selected recipients, please be prepared to attend either lunch or dinner on Saturday, Sept. 15th.

Your personal statement should address the following topics, among others: (1) Involvement with the local Korean legal community, such as IAKL, KABA, or Korean law student organization; (2) Connection to Korea and/or Korean community (personal and professional experience, cultural identity, career path, etc.); and (3) Diversity statement (under-represented minority status such as race, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, etc.).
