Schools Lead Application

INITIAL ROLE
1. Upon introduction to school arranges meeting with appointed teacher to discuss::
- What is currently in place to support students
- Number of potential applicants
- What they would value most
- Any insight the teacher feels is relevant
- Previous success for medicine applicants (% applied / % holding offers)
2. Arranges meeting with mentors to explain above
3. Allocate mentors to students and input to spreadsheet

LONG TERM ROLE
1. Responsible for the delivery of the curriculum, in regular contact with teacher
2. Manage safeguarding as per policy
3. Be aware of calendar of events and ensure students/mentors are informed
4. Within scope of role has autonomy over decisions regarding engagement with the
school and progress of students, leadership position
5. Continually responsive to feedback from school and students
6. Alongside Medics&Me run MMI's can arrange own mocks within school if desired
