A FREE workshop will be offered for Southern California Tribes:
Safe Management and Operations of Private, Tribal Wells

WHEN: September 4th, 2019 | 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
WHERE: Cahuilla Tribal Hall, 52701 State Highway 371, Anza, California 92539

This training will focus on the safe management and operations of private wells on Tribal Lands.
Presentations and activities will provide general and technical information on well management, tools used for maintenance and monitoring, and techniques for well owner communications.

Workshop topics include:
- Private Well Care
- Well Assessment
- Testing Tools and Procedures
- Emergency Response and Private Wells
- Outreach and Well Owner Attitudes
- Online Resources (WaterOperator.org)

Complimentary lunch to be provided.

Who Should Attend: This workshop is useful for Tribal Environmental Staff, IHS, Public Works, Utility professionals and well owners supporting private wells.
