The HEAL Act’s First Hearing!
Many communities in Washington face different health outcomes just because of where they live. These frontline communities are often people of color and those with lower income - too often invisible to those making and implementing laws.

We have an opportunity to start correcting this injustice this session through the Health Environments for All (HEAL) Act. The HEAL Act would define environmental justice and improve environmental health conditions for all Washington residents, prioritizing areas where communities are suffering first and most from pollution and the impacts of climate change.

The HEAL Act’s first hearing is next Wednesday and we need to show that our communities will no longer be invisible. Will you join us? Below are the details:

The HEAL Act’s First Hearing!
When: Wednesday, Feb 13th at 8:00am
Where: J.A. Cherberg Building, 304 15th Ave SW, Olympia - Senate Hearing Room 1

RSVP here so that we can bring enough materials. We’ll also do our best to organize carpools if you need one.
