Munster Eventing Ball 2018
The Munster Eventing Ball takes place at the Great National Hotel, Tipperary on Saturday 3rd November. The highlight of the social calendar in the Munster Region every year, the 2018 Ball will raise funds for the David Foster Injured Riders Fund (the preferred charity of the family of Jonty Evans) in addition to supporting training initiatives and providing venue improvement grants to Horse Trials in the Region.
During the night, 18 amazing auction items will go under the hammer with legendary Irish eventing commentator Tom Busteed leading the proceedings. We are very grateful to all those who have donated auction items - if you cannot be there on the night but still want to lend your support, we are accepting online bids.
Please complete the form below with the item you wish to bid for and your maximum intended bid. A member of the Munster Eventing Committee will bid on your behalf during the live auction up to your maximum bid. Successful bidders will be contacted following the auction to provide payment details.

Submit Online Bid - The Small Print!
Please note you submit your bid on the condition that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions. During the auction, a member of the Munster Eventing Committee will bid on your behalf up to your maximum stated bid. If you wish to be contacted by phone during the auction of your chosen item, please let us know in the comment box above.
Successful bidders will be contacted after the auction to provide payment details - payment can be made by EFT (Bank Transfer) or Credit Card (transactions handled by Stripe). For the winning bid to be valid, payments must be submitted before Friday 9th November.
Online bidders must be based in the UK or Ireland and be over 18 years of age on 1/1/2018.
When you place a bid you thereby enter a contractually binding and irrevocable obligation to complete the transaction if you are the winning bidder of that lot. The 'winning bidder' is the person certified to be the highest bidder by the Munster Eventing Ball OC at the end of the auction, and it includes any under-bidder who is awarded the lot following the failure for any reason of a higher bid as decreed by the organisers. If there are two or more bidders with equal claims to be the winning bidder, the organisers shall select one by drawing names out of a hat. If the bidding does not reach your maximum stated bid, you will only be liable to pay the price that the item reaches on the night.
Lots will lapse, and not be claimable, unless they have been fully taken by the end of 31 October 2019, unless otherwise stated.
You are not able to retract any bid under any circumstances after it has been submitted.
50% of the proceeds from the Munster Eventing Ball will be donated to the David Foster Injured Riders Fund with the remaining 50% funding training initiatives for Munster Eventing Ireland members and offering improvement grants to Munster Eventing venues. The organisers of the Munster Eventing Ball reserve the right to add, remove or modify auction items at any time.
By bidding for any lot you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
