3x3 UniHustle Nationals is taking place on the 2nd-4th July 2024 at the University of the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Games will be played on the above dates, however travel is required on the 1st and 5th of July. If you are unavailable for these dates please do not fill out this form or attend trials.
UNSW will be sending 2 men's and 2 women's teams to compete (Div 1 and Div 2). Each team comprises of 4 players. Selected players are expected to attend weekly training sessions in the lead up to the tournament.
Players selected on these teams must acknowledge the financial costs associated with competing in the tournament. Players are responsible for the booking and payment of flights, accommodation (booked by UNSW Basketball) as well as UniSport registration fees. Players are also responsible for any other costs incurred whilst travelling (e.g. food and drinks). This can result in players being out of pocket up to $1000 (depends how savvy you are with flights and food!!). The tournament also takes place during Term 2 Week 6, meaning attending this competition will cut into study time.
Please take this into consideration when deciding whether to trial.
Team Trial Dates: MENS Trial 1: 8th April 8am-9am
Trial 2: 11th April 11am-1pm
WOMENS
Trial 1: 11th April 9am-11am
All trials held at the Level 1 Basketball Courts @ the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre, High Street Kensington.
It costs $10 to participate per trial, which can be paid cash or card upon entry to the trial.
Only UNSW students may trial for the team
